PRE-ORDER or WALK IN for ballooons! When picking up, pull up to the curb and we will load your order for you!
Party Savers recommends “Qualatex” for latex balloons. Qualatex latex balloons are 100% latex, not plastic. They are made from a natural rubber product extracted from the sap of rubber trees (from the brasiliensis hevea tree). It is collected my making a small cut into the tree’s bark, and then catching the sap (latex) in a cup. Latex harvesting doesn’t hurt the tree. Latex balloons are Earth-friendly! Rubber trees grow in rain forests. Latex harvesting discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees are left intact. A tree can produce latex for about 35 years. The continuing demand for latex balloons ensures the survival of the rubber tree and provided economic incentive for planting (instead of cutting down) these trees.
These latex balloons are 100% BIODEGRADABLE which can decompose as fast as an oak leaf in your backyard. Use the balloons from your party on your garden as mulch.
Popped balloons present a choking hazard. Please do not leave children unaccompanied with latex balloons.
Latex balloons without hi-float® typically lasts about 8-10 hours. Float time may be reduced in unusually warm, unusually cool or humid environments and at high elevations. If treated with hi-float®, you can expect the balloons to last an additional 40 hours if not more. It is best to use the balloons indoors and out of the sunlight. Hi-float® is a non-toxic sealant which coats the inner wall of balloon to keep the helium from escaping the latex balloons.
Foil balloons typically lasts 3-7 days and do not get hi-float® as the foil keeps the helium from escaping. Please be very careful not to release these balloons as they can cause power failure if entangled in power lines.
We love doing air filled designs. We have albums in the store for you to look at or you can let us know what you are looking for. Email us at any time for quotes at MidlandPartySavers@gmail.com. This is very helpful when a helium shortage does occur and you can still use balloons to decorate for your party!!
Despite this the fact remains that released balloons do create litter. We encourage all our clients to please dispose of their balloons in a thoughtful way. However in good conscience, we can mot longer provide this service. We always used biodegradable latex balloons but they would need to be used with crepe paper as the ribbon. The issue of balloon litter is a major concern and we do not want to be the cause of inadvertently harming any animal through indigestion of balloon fragment or entanglement.

The above hours of float time for the latex and helium may be effected by certain conditions. On hot days, balloons expand and can pop. Please cool off your car before picking up your balloons. This can happen through direct sunlight as well which includes through windows. On colder days, helium molecules may shrink reducing the size and float time of balloons. The foil balloons will expand when it warms up if not left too long in the cold weather.
